A Ripening Tradition Of Good Taste

It started in the late 1980’s when the choice of wines in the local market was limited. This became the opportunity that led husband and wife Klaus and Kitt Schroeder to start the import of German wines. 

In 1990, BRUMMS ENTERPRISES, built a temperature controlled cellar that could store 20,000 bottles, one of the first of its kind in the industry.

In tune with the fast changing market trend, BRUMMS QUALITY WINES, INC, incorporated in 1992, opened a wine shop in Robinson Galleria, Ortigas Center, the first of its kind in Manila. It offered a whole range of wines in its wine portfolio plus accessories like high quality wine glasses, wine openers, wine savers and other wine related items.

In November 2002, The Winery was inaugurated and became the new home of BRUMMS QUALITY WINES, INC. consisting of the wine cellar, a wine tasting room, and the wine sales office.

Setting the trend for the modern day wine company, The Winery, became a venue accommodating private parties, personal and corporate, held in the private lush garden or in the fully airconditioned  function room. 

The demand for high quality cuisine and service to complement the wines presented a good option for expansion which gave realization  to our gastronomie facility in The Winery.

In June 2006, our gourmet restaurant, LEMURIA opened its doors to an enthusiastic and appreciative clientele. Expressive French Mediterranean cuisine created from scratch  by our executive chefs is the main focus complemented by a vibrant service from the restaurant staff.

In December 2007, LEMURIA, widened its base beyond its own appellation offering catering services for private parties, corporate launches and wedding celebrations with  menus of your choice from  our creative kitchen.   

Up to the present LEMURIA continues to offer the high quality cuisine and service to meet the high expectations by its discriminating market. It has received high ratings from independent blogs, magazines and other write-ups as well as gracious testimonials from its regular clientele abounds.

Going in a parallel direction are the wines from the cellar of BRUMMS QUALITY WINES, INC. Wine selection in its list evolves and continues to excite wine enthusiasts as well newcomers.
